1. Like they did in MO (Missouri), they closed a lot of the smaller places in MO, mainly those in smaller towns.

Disgusting when all of a sudden, medical deserts opened up in the vastness of rural Missouri. People were having to drive literally 1/2 hundred miles just for a dental appt, or any other sort of appt, often times even longer distances. That's one reason why I didn't move to the Ozarks, MO where my folks retired ultimately to. I have/had too many health reasons to not place my life in danger living out there.
