The purpose is clearly to destroy the Constitution and the rule of law so he/they can install themselves as dictators for life.
He/they have to corrupt and pervert the military and law enforcement, since some of the judiciary are still holding them back.
And dictators destroy competent government by installing unqualified idiots and imbeciles.
