9. You already know that you're a target by a scammer

Do not send this scammer any money and cut contact with them ASAP.

Instead, take the extra time in your life and join a book club, a gardening club, a dancing club (example: line dancing) take a painting class, take a cooking class, take arts and crafts class, visit art galleries, visit a senior center.

You get the idea. Get out of the house and meet a few people that you can talk to face to face. You might meet someone that could develop into a lifelong friendship. You might meet someone that could develop into a romantic relationship. Who knows.

Do not let this online scammer take advantage of you.
