2. Thw 6 refers to how many "kinds of nuts" not to how many cookies.

But it's wrong.

Peanuts are not nuts, they are beans.
Cashews are in the poison ivy family, ao are technically not nuts. which is the "poison" in poison ivy and other poison plants (oak, sumac, wood) The oil is only on the shells of cashews so cannot contaminate the nut unless the shell breaks. And that is why cashews are never sold in the shell. The same is true of pistachios - I do remember they used to be sold in the shell, but the shells were coated with what appeared to be very thick paint, but I now realize must have been something designed to hold that oil in check. And I no longer see them sold in the shell at all.
