sounds a bit like yours, but with more an Italian zest than Mexican, and including pasta. I was definitely in the mood for soup. I've been sick for over a week, feeling so puny it's hard to even get out of bed. Breathing is hard, but my O2 level reads okay on this little thingee I bought during the height of covid. So, I dunno... maybe it's just trump overload that's killing me, body and soul... and that's where a good bowl of soup shows its best healing powers. Your soup sounds delicious! And makes me even more want to drag this old body in front of the stove and cook up some magic of my own!
