First tomato night is very special, and that sounds like a wonderful summer meal!

I was upset for almost 24 hours because the day before I had stopped at one of my gardens to look at a tomato I had my eye on as my first ripe tomato.

It was gone.

Today I stopped by to tie a protective netting over it. In the process, I found the branch had fallen, and there was the tomato. Still green, but quite intact. The groundhogs didn’t get it after all.
