13. Roasted Hatch chile soup

and leftover pizza. Mr. Retrograde got a bag of Hatch chiles at the market the other day: we roasted them, removed the charred skins, and cooked with sauteed onion and some turkey stock. It's, um, hot - I usually do this soup with roasted red peppers. I added some half-and-half to try to tone down the heat a bit. There will definitely be leftovers for tomorrow.
