Was so glad we’re finally getting some rain today and the temperature at noon was 60 degrees, when over the past week it would’ve been between 85-90. A big pot of minestrone was in order so I got all the ingredients together and whipped up a big pot in about an hour. Fresh minced oregano, basil and chives from my garden were added as soon as I turned off the heat so their essence would prevail. Had toasted sprouted multigrain bread to sop up the broth and a nice Cabernet to savor the cool spell. Cheers! 🍷
