3. Those fires simply should not be burning right now. The ground should be too wet to support the fires.

That land is boreal forest or Tiaga which should be covered with snow 5 to 8 months a year, the ground is covered with
moss, ferns, rotted timbers, evergreens, plants like blueberries, sphagnum moss, and fungi all of which stay wet. And the
land is thick with wetlands, lakes, ponds, streams, and rivers and under that land is granite that doesn’t allow the water to
soak into it too.
