Severe dog hoarding case in rural Washington [View all]

Local officials, volunteers, and local animal rescue Paws and Claws Pet Rescue worked together to rescue over 100 neglected dogs from a home in Albion.

The dogs were found living in squalor and ankle-deep feces. Most have never stepped outside and are terrified of humans.

Rescuers said all dogs are in need of medical care and several are pregnant. They are suffering from fleas, tapeworms, malnutrition, matted fur, rotting teeth, and many more ailments.

See photos of some of the poor pups here and donate if you can to help with their recovery. The goal is to treat, sterilize, and socialize each dog so they can find a loving home. These dogs have been through so much and deserve to experience love for the first time in their lives.
