I was slogging 5K's two times a week. Then suddenly I sprouted a weight gain that as much as I tried, I couldn't stop and my knees just stopped cooperating. So I need to lose that weight before I can start up again.

For me, that level of exercise helped remove the excess salts, which may have helped keep my BP down. So, I am hoping that my health will improve if I can find something that will help me stay fit without doing further damage to my knees.
