This evening I made a dish that my mother made when I was a kid that I haven't had for more than six decades. [View all]

It’s cubes of stale bread, celery, and onions, with lots of pepper baked in creamed corn. I don’t recall any of my relatives or anyone else for that matter making it. I doubt that it’s a recipe my mother created.

BTW, it’s delicious! 😋
