... two staties popped the lock on my car, and found a pack of rolling papers on the front seat. They missed the four ounces on the back seat under a Rolling Stone newspaper.

I said "Afternoon, officer, is there a problem?"
He said, "You ought to know that you're getting searched if there's a package of roll your own papers on the front seat."
Thinking he said that having a Rolling Stone on the seat. I said, "I beg your pardon?"
He repeated again slowly.
He asked us who we were, and we told him we were at Great Lakes going to "A" school.
Finally he said, "We're letting you leave, we gotcha, you know we gotcha, and we know you know we gotcha. Never come back here again."

About an hour or two later I went back in the dark, went about forty or fifty feet up the path and found the sucrets tin full of manicure tops and hash I dropped when I saw the cops come down from the path on the other side of the road, instantly. I went down to the road as my buddy swung by and never went back again.

I don't answer questions and I don't volunteer statements. And I don't ever lie. Especially if I see a cop close the door of my locked car.
