(58,919 posts)I demoted the smiley to half because I take your dream somewhat seriously. We can't take dreams too seriously because they are only dreams. The mind wanders relatively unrestrained by reason because it is exploring things like "How would I react to ... ?" But the Rapture has been in the news and on some minds lately and we were saved from being yanked up to that boring bar called "Heaven" where nothing every happens ... unlike DU where stuff is always happening.
The concern about the blanket (as expanded upon in another post of yours) may be a part of your mind unwilling to completely write off and abandon your sibling, expressing a hope that there is some goodness.
Basically the dream has main elements: Something needed fixing, barely hanging on (actually or metaphorically), survived a calamity. Did you not recently have a health issue, if my memory serves me? Those elements also describe the tRump 2.0 saga, which so far we are barely hanging on from but we have hopes (and my optimism) that we will survive the calamity.
