I know someone who has to rent a storage unit just for their Christmas decorations. Most of which will be in a landfill in a decade or so. It would do Americans (and the environment) good to get back to being thrifty and frugal IMHO.

I'd actually be less of a grinch if I saw a lot fewer houses that looked like Disneyland. Do we really need to light of the entire neighborhood for Christmas?
