Naturally, they have already lawyered-up big time and they won't come anywhere near the Committee meeting room. Nonetheless, the Media will start asking questions and doing profiles on Pervy. "Gee, I wonder what he knows about this operations? I wonder why he is refusing to testify?"
And the Epstein thing was way bigger than a child sex ring. It was mainly about money laundering and extortion, so the committee can make similar invitations of the people involved in those aspects:

The Committee seeks to understand the scope of these transactions, who initiated them, and how they fit into the overall pattern of Mr. Epstein's operation. This is effectively like the so-called "speaking indictment". It is a way to pique the media's interest and get them talking about the Epstein operation on a daily basis. None of these things needs to explicitly mention Trump. We already know Trump is at the center of it all because of how hard he is fighting to keep it contained. Each of these invitations will provoke another eruption from Trump, and the media will figure that out.
