The situation is more complex than blaming what should have been a Democratic POTUS win on anti-war protesters.

Reminds me of Vietnam era only much worse.

POTUS Biden supported a ceasefire and a two-state solution and was kneecapped by party insiders and large donors.

Most of us got behind Harris and Walz with renewed excitement.

Netanyahu got who he and Greater Israel extremists wanted for POTUS with the election of Trump. AIPAC and more extreme supporters of Netanyahu and Likud gave lots of money to both sides in the election.

Israel got the benefit of the doubt after October 7, 2023.

"High-minded moralists" supported Israel's response. Most of us supported Israel because that is all we have ever known. Some of us are repulsed by violence. Too many still support the "war".

Israel has lost the benefit of the doubt to most of the world and a majority of Democrats and young Americans.

Israel is damn transparent now at great harm and ominous risk to the USA and World with no end in sight.
