He's an engineer and can't get regular work. As you can imagine the Taliban is making things exceptionally bad for anyone not in their gang.

He shared most people are living hand to mouth. He wants to get out but doing so is not only next to impossible without money (which apparently belongs only to the Taliban) it's dangerous.

He's the sweetest guy. My heart breaks.
