Theyve vowed to avoid all news. Stick to their backyard garden and pretend everything is alright. Theyve taught me a lot about 1930s Germany. Kimmels very job was to peck at the powers that be. That was his job! Not hide behind platitudes and doilies. Neither he nor his show could survive that. And, basically, once youve made that move there is no going back.
