He's announced he's not running and the very popular former governor Roy Cooper (D) has a very good chance of winning Tillis's seat.

If all those rich Republicans down in Charlotte get mad at the Trump administration Cooper will win in a blowout.

Trump is already making everybody in western NC mad and that's hurting the Republicans too. Even our other useless senator Ted Budd mumbled something at Trump recently.
