Change probably won't go over well with his base, either. He convinced so many of them that he would be this tiny dove of peace and end wars and prevent our involvement in others. Since he was inaugurated, he's been talking about invading other nations, both friendly and unfriendly. Sure, there are those who are fully on board with this, but they aren't the types that voted for him because he promised peace. People need to be scared away from him. Democrats can do that by planting the idea in their heads that Trump will bring back the draft. It's an inevitable consequence of his decisions, and it will shrink his support even more.
