5. Colorado Springs is deep red. Trump is alienating his own people

The Air Force Academy is also in the Springs and and has increasing course offerings on strategic space. This colocation is an excellent match.

Trump is doing this to hurt a blue state and reward a red one, and also to reflexively nix a Biden policy. Not exactly an algorithm for mission success.

This should be added to the list of things for the next Dem president (if there is one) to reverse, no matter how expensive.
