Why is it that nobody likes Ted Cruz? There has to be a reason .... Just ask Steve Schmidt, he has several.
For one, Cruz an alcoholic and a frequent late-night partier. That's why he looks so terrible, with a puffy face and sleepy eyes even during the day. After drinking and partying all night he rarely gets to the Senate meetings or hearings before 10 o'clock in the morning. And the fact is that Cruz leaves town a lot ... There have been lots of gossipy news stories about how even his own family doesn't like him, or want to be around him.
I don't know if it's all true, but I don't like Ted Cruz and I don't even know him. I've read these gossipy things in Steve Schmidt's regular daily blog. Schmidt has known Ted Cruz for a lot of years, and he doesn't hold back on criticizing Cruz, ever.
