2. It underscores how far we've gone when Scalia is held up as the reasonable one...

In reality, he probably was on some issues--by comparison. Obviously not on a lot of major issues that has sent us down this path. Still, he did attempt to argue the law and constitution. Alito, Thomas, Kavanaugh and Gorsuch (often) just argue ideology and try to make the law "fit" (or ignore it completely).

But, damn if I wouldn't sub Scalia in for any of those horrible cretins.
