Yesterday

Very similar to Russia in Afghanistan but with advanced drones that we don't yet have effective defenses for. So, worse.

And the whole new generation of war-hardened and tecu-savy terrorists that would come out of it. They'll be visiting us at intervals for the next few decades, no matter how the war comes out.

What a mess, huh?
