to defund and crack down on policies and institutions they know they wouldn't be able to get away with destroying otherwise.

Notice how they never present any evidence for this "fraudy fraud fraud everywhere!" shit outside of their own tired conspiracy theories. Actual fraud in these programs is ridiculously rare. It's all just a fucking excuse to push fascism and silence dissent.
