Democrats Need A Project 2029 [View all]
Viktor Orban didn't lose because he was the worst of 2 candidates. Victor Orban didn't lose because he was a dictator. Victor Orban lost because his opponent rallied around unwashed Hungarians.
Back in March of 2025 when Senator Schumer gave the OK for Senate Democrats to vote for the CR, he went on Chris Haye's show and flat out stated that Krasnov will burn it all down and then Americans will vote for Democrats. That's not my opinion, I heard him say that.
If this is the strategy for Democrats going forward, it is wrong, it is dumb.
Democrats still have time to organize a group of progressive and moderate members of Congress, unwashed Americans, business people, buy a fucking white board, everyone involved has an equal vote. Fucking publicize what they are doing, fighting for working class Americans and small and yes Big businesses. Having a Project 2029 will give every Democrat a unified message, will eliminate fights between moderates and progressives.
I get sick when I hear, "the American people want,' well, the American people want members of Congress who will fight for them to make the American Dream realistic again.
I was a part of a brainstorming group that did the white board/brainstorming process, I represented our company's union. Our corporate Big wigs sent out the order to all factories to cut costs. Our union met with management and made our participation conditional, we would not participate in any effort that cut union members, our plant manager agreed. Our group was comprised of an equal number of union and company people and we met regularly every week. We were so successful that our strategy was copied by plant managers at other factories, and we didn't cut any people.
The Democratic party needs participation from its base in decision making. Get mayors, state officials, local union officials involved in Project 2029. The DNC and the other leaders of our party should seriously consider this.
Whoever started the idea that the Democratic Party is the lesser of 2 evils most likely was a Magat, it's a losing strategy.
Just a suggestion from someone who was involved in cutting costs for my factory 25 years ago that ended up keeping our factory running to this very day.
