16. There are no principled billionaires

And especially hedge fund billionaires. Even those who look decent at first (I’m thinking of Jon Corzine) end up implicated in shady schemes. That’s their entire business. They’re mostly crooks and vultures.

I fear he’s going to take our CA tax dollars and funnel it to any business interests he’s friendly with. He’ll say he’s “investing in the future” in “green” energy companies, but he’ll find a way to profit. Meanwhile we’ll continue paying the highest gas and utility prices in the country. What does it matter to him? It’s not like he has to worry about the price of fuel for his private jets and helicopters.
