Because I thought I remembered that he was a goalie, and goalies = weird (not always in a bad way, ymmv).
He was Harvard's backup goalie.

During his Harvard years, he was backup goalie for the varsity ice hockey team[18] and was a roommate of future NHL general manager Peter Chiarelli and former ice hockey player Mark Benning.[19][20] He lived at Winthrop House, and graduated in 1987 with a bachelor's degree in economics magna cum laude.

Oh, yeah, and graduated magna cum laude.

The contrast to that orange sac of festering pus at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave just keeps looking more painful.
