I really don't think Mexico wants to join NATO because it involves a committment to send troops overseas to fight wars. Mexico's focus just isn't security in Europe, ME and Asia.


It's against the NATO charter to attack a NATO member anyway. So it's not gonna happen.
EU doesn't attack anyone.
