1. When I was a kid we used to decorate tether ball poles and we never knew why but we did have fun..

Then, when I was older in the working world as a Union member, I learned it was an International Workers Rights Day and learned the importance of the history it honored. I wish it was taught in schools because the sacrifices made make the workplace a much better environment
