You objected to what Israel was called - was "evil empire", now "evil asswipes". So your call for civility was about civility to Israel. It seems necessary to point out to you that there's nothing like that in the DU TOS. DUers are also free to call the USA an "evil empire", and many would see that as a justified term, under Trump. Since Israel has a colony in the West Bank, and is currently bombing southern Lebanon and driving out its inhabitants, I think Israel under Netanyahu can also be termed an "evil empire".
