Since 1948.

The nukes are there to ensure Arab/Muslim neighbours never attack in sufficient strength to be any real threat. They know they would be nuked immediately. Without mutual deterrence and "qualitative edge" military for only Israel, it can do whatever it wants. And the West ALWAYS has its back and runs diplomatic cover for its transgressions. I've concluded all the talk about support for a Palestinian state was always just talk, never serious. We were fooled.
