16. All MSM and media has done this since tRump 2.0

Friday

I have definitely noticed it from TV news anchors, liberal podcasters, comments on DU and basically everywhere. Since I loudly and often use 4-letter words and have since I was 16 I have had to be very, very careful with my mouth. I am a passionate person and I learned profanity from my Italian grandmom so I can use Italian profanity in the US without offending most people while also expressing my passion towards a particular person, place, thing or idea.

I certainly notice when others use profanity and "get away with it". I was an elementary school teacher for 20 years and watching my mouth was constantly very challenging for me. I hear tons of people in professional professions publicly swearing and it has become almost commonplace since 2024. "The fucking moron" (as Rex Tillerson described tRump in 2017) has been a white trash, tacky billionaire whose dirty mouth is broadcast constantly has influenced many Americans who now feel free to express themselves with 4-letter words too.
