I just got my application for mail-in ballot. [View all]

For some reason, it's required to apply, even though I always vote by mail. This time, it's asking for my social security number. I'm not comfortable writing in on a paper that anyone in the election office can see. Why do they need it? They have my birthdate, and I've been voting here for 20 years. Is this part of the GOP obsession with voter fraud? What would you do? I'm really not comfortable with this. It's not as if my vote counts here (TN), but I'd still like to do it.

Update: yessirree, thanks to the bloated one, we need to submit our social security number to vote by mail. That’s one way to get us to stop voting. I’m not willing to risk identity theft for a vote that won’t matter anyway. This county is so fucked.
