I expect you are more updated on this than me. Probably he doesn't want their help because it would look pretty bad for him to need help from Ukraine, also to then turn on them. My understanding is that Ukraine can supply drones for a fraction of the cost, and this means Trump is saying no, he'd rather spend taxpayer dollars.
