I'm unclear why you think the USA doesn't have access to that learning. USA admits to having "more than 150" troops and special forces in Ukraine.

That much is shared publicly. I assume what is shared institutionally is much more in depth, especially with respect to weapons development and effective counter measures.

Pentagon has a double agent embedded on the Russian side as well.
