But for those whose responsibility it actually is, they voted our current leadership into power in the first place and virtually none of them are are calling on them to step down OR stepping up themselves to mount a challenge to their leadership.

You say that you have no power to defeat Republicans, but you expect your criticism of Democratic leadership to do what exactly? You can't name a replacement and those that can do not want a replacement.
