My impression at the time was that POTUS Biden was strongly in favor of a two-state solution and that weapons provided to Israel were contingent on actions by Israel not being as drastic.

Looks to me that Isreal's response to the Hamas attack cost the Democratic the POTUS and gave the World Trump.

Netanyahu says Trump is best POTUS. The flow of arms and monies continues to foster the Greater Israel project. Too many Israelis support the genocide and land thefts.

The "left" is the scapegoat that admittedly acted abysmally but POTUS Biden could had persevered if not pressured by donors and Democratic leadership less committed to a two-state solution and early and real ceasefire.
