11. Unless something needed explain, why accept the radiation risk?

Yesterday

I've been at the hospital with relatives whose doctors recommended CT scans and MRIs. In each case, either when they were prescribed or at the emergency room, the reason for the test was explained at a level we understood.

If that kind of decision was explained to regular people, I assume they would have to balance the pros and cons of those tests for the President.

I wonder if the circulation problems they disclosed might have triggered wanting to check out or even rule out possible related problems.
