Showing Original Post only (View all)Trump at 36% in Gallup is a BFD [View all]
36% approval to 60% disapproval is a big fucking deal. The poll validates all the negative polling data from so many other polls. Trump still holds sway among the Republican electorate makes that more dangerous for his party. That means pro-Trump candidates have the advantage in Republican primaries, but with solid Democratic disapproval, coupled with Trump's favorability in the twenties among Independents, the Republicans are being led to a political slaughter.
I can't see this changing in the next year. I don't see the economy improving or Trump modifying his despicable behavior. As bad as it seems now for Trump and the Republicans, I think it will get much worse before November.

When broken down by party, it's much higher than one-third for registered Republicans

I hate to tell you, Maga. But even if they take money away from the people, you hate, you're not gonna get it.

Every time he brags about his approval ratings, he should be asked. "are you a stupid person"

How is he doing in the red states? If he falls below 50% there, he might lose support in Congress

Definitely good sign. Wish they'd ask, "You said you Disapprove, would you still vote for trump today?"
