(2,053 posts)is that it seems completely implausible that Trump could have been hit, and then show absolutely no damage to the ear just several days later. Trump jumped up as if in a well rehearsed show, when one would have thought that the Secret Service would have kept him on the ground and immediately evacuated him. But OK, Trump has a monumental ego and is an experienced showman, so maybe he just grabbed the moment. It could have happened that way. It is possible, but it seems about as unlikely as the Kennedy magic bullet. And there was no investigation as far as the public knows.
So we have no basis for judging whether Trump was actually hit or this was a carefully staged show. And the issue is that if it was a staged show, that says the Trump regime is perfectly happy killing two people in that instance, including one who seemed to be completely innocent. That would be a monstrous act, and nobody wants to believe that could possibly be true.
However, in the horrific scenario that it was a managed show, that would mean that Kirk's killing could have been the same as well as this incident -- in other words, if there is a complete disregard for human life in the service of keeping this regime in power, that puts events in a different light. Certainly, we know there is a complete disregard for human life as Trump tries to create a pretense for starting a war in Venezuela.
Let's all pray that the Trump regime is not this monstrous. But let's keep our eyes open and keep pressing for accountability and transparency.
