That's because heavy trucks are not exported to the United States - in the world market cab-over-engine trucks are the kind everyone uses, but in North America "conventional" trucks, which put the cab behind the engine, are used. Three of the biggest manufacturers of heavy trucks in the world are Daimler, Volvo and Volkswagen. In order to enter the North American market, Daimler bought Freightliner and Western Star, Volvo bought WhiteGMC and Mack, and Volkswagen bought Navistar, the company that makes Internationals. They didn't even bother trying to invent a truck American drivers would like.

Where are these trucks made?

Freightliner and Western Star are both made in Portland, OR.
Volvo is made in Dublin, VA.
Mack is made in Macungie, PA.
International is made in San Antonio, TX.

So...is he going to declare Macungie a foreign nation and tariff Macks?
