The Abandon Harris Crowd Is All Of A Sudden Very Quiet

I recently came across an interesting fact. All the Abandon Harris websites seem to have been quietly taken down.

First let me give a refresher course on the Abandon Harris movement. On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched an attack on Israel called Al-Aqsa Flood. Israel responded with a massive counterattack on Gaza. We can get into a long complicated debate on what Israelis, Palestinians, and Americans should have done, but that is not the point of this diary. In the aftermath of Israel’s invasion of Gaza a group of pro-Palestinian American voters started the Uncommitted Movement. These folks decided to vote uncommitted in the Democratic primaries in order to show their displeasure with how Biden was handling the conflict:

Harris ended up losing Michigan along with several other swing states and Trump became President again. In the aftermath of the election many folks in the Abandon Harris campaign were thrilled by the results:

Jaylani Hussein is the founder and co-chair of the Minnesota chapter of the Abandon Harris campaign. He said that the results of the election are what they were expecting.

“It is beyond worth it,” Hussein said. “We warned the Democrats. We said this was going to happen, and it did happen.”
