This is why their movement isn’t taken seriously, even by those sympathetic to the plight of the people of Gaza.

They voted like morons and double down on an ex presidential candidate.

Are they living in bizarro world? Maybe they won’t protest Trump because they’re afraid they’ll get their assess kicked and locked up by Trump’s goons.

Honestly though, I don’t care. Fuck them.

Think Epstein too.

Maybe the Trump "pee tapes" were taken at Epstein's Manhattan wired for photography?

Seems a taboo subject.

Makes more sense for Gaza protestors to protest Trump except more likely to get heads bashed or arrested or whatever.

Those most interested in amplifying war in Gaza probably wanted Trump because POTUS Biden supported two states and a stop to the violence / ceasefire.

I am having problem with the logic myself as to why also weaken Harris and the two state solution.

These Gaza protestors make themselves look bad by the demonstrations as they should logically be protesting Trump.

Not much talk at DU but I read various The Guardian, BBC, Times of Jerusalem Al Jazeera and other periodicals nearly every day.

Figure if something is confusing probably at least in part contrived.

Epstein as a money launderer, arms, dealer, influence peddler, blackmailer and maybe intelligence asset is scarcely mentioned, Robert Maxwell was. Why tape all these people?

Know I am conflating two issues.

You asked what if not obviously Russian trolls. Could be Russian trolls that are supporters of Greater Israel / one state and want to lessen Harris.

about the fact that the people in Gaza were starving,” she said, urging the demonstrators to read her speech from that day “to know that I understand your concern and how you feel. I think I do. I think I do. And the reality of it is that’s where we are right now.”

“I’ve been very candid that after I gave that speech … I took a lot of heat from the administration for doing that. There are a lot of people that did not like that. I spoke out so forcefully and candidly about my concern about what was happening in Gaza.”''

16. The Abandon Harris Crowd Is All Of A Sudden Very Quiet

The Abandon Harris Crowd Is All Of A Sudden Very Quiet

I recently came across an interesting fact. All the Abandon Harris websites seem to have been quietly taken down.

First let me give a refresher course on the Abandon Harris movement. On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched an attack on Israel called Al-Aqsa Flood. Israel responded with a massive counterattack on Gaza. We can get into a long complicated debate on what Israelis, Palestinians, and Americans should have done, but that is not the point of this diary. In the aftermath of Israel’s invasion of Gaza a group of pro-Palestinian American voters started the Uncommitted Movement. These folks decided to vote uncommitted in the Democratic primaries in order to show their displeasure with how Biden was handling the conflict:

***

Harris ended up losing Michigan along with several other swing states and Trump became President again. In the aftermath of the election many folks in the Abandon Harris campaign were thrilled by the results:

Jaylani Hussein is the founder and co-chair of the Minnesota chapter of the Abandon Harris campaign. He said that the results of the election are what they were expecting.

“It is beyond worth it,” Hussein said. “We warned the Democrats. We said this was going to happen, and it did happen.”
