2. The US media are gone

Wednesday

It began on 12/12/2000 when SCOTUS illegally stopped a state vote recount and handed the presidency to W only to have the media say: "Let's just move on."
I accelerates every day with billionaires owning and controlling more and more media outlets. Corporate consolidation is killing what's left of TV news.
Newspapers have faded to fish wrap. Even remaining papers in poor towns "catapult the propaganda."
Overall, it's not what they cover; it's what they consistently ignore or mis-frame.
I spent a career in media. It's a shitshow now.
