If a Democratic appointment was on video receiving a bribe like he was, fired immediately, media talks about nothing else for 24 hours a day for a month, indicted etc. But it’s a Republican so nothing at all will happen.

But I assume many Americans put more faith and trust in the opinions and reporting of “news” from friends, influencers, pundits than ANY trained and principled reporter.
