Encourage folks to check their registration status regularly to make sure it’s accurate and current (maybe I’m just paranoid in the extreme but … you know).

Encourage anyone and everyone to:

Monitor possible changes to local laws and be prepared to follow them to the letter — like making sure your registration matches the info on your ID.

I would encourage everyone to plan to vote like it’s their first time to the polls, even if you’ve lived wherever your whole life. Take two pieces of mail, ideally utility bills.

Plan to wait or be held up.

Think about what you can do to make other voters comfortable, should there be any kind of intimidation, both official and unofficial.

Our local progressives report problems to social media on Election Day and have people who can respond with appropriate actions to take. If you don’t have a similar network in your community, the time to build one is today.
