No doubt women that get married are the largest part of that cohort, but the additional documentation required for Real ID applies to anyone that legally changes their name.

Documentation might be marriage/divorce papers, adoption papers, court orders, etc..

I'm not aware of a different birth certificate requirement for married women than for anyone else.
