5. He Really Only Believed in Himself

Personally, I suspect that Charlie Kirk didn’t really believe in a lot of the ideas that he put out there. He may have started out as a young zealot, but he grew to recognize that he got more attention (and money) the more outrageous he became. Ultimately, he was just a talented grifter who appealed to stupid, ignorant, and venal lowlifes - much like Trump. It wouldn’t surprise me if he ultimately expected to be Trump’s successor. It is outrageous that we’re expected to pay homage to this horrible person.
